Hi Holotable Heroes,
It's been quite the busy week with Grand Arena Championships and the Separatist Might. I've collected all our announcements from the last 5 days at the bottom of this post but I've also got something exciting to share. Galaxy's Edge is awesome! I took a bunch of photos and I figured fellow Star Wars fans would like to see what Disney has cooked up.
Friday Fun Fact:
I was lucky enough to get an early ticket to visit Galaxy's Edge last weekend and beat much of crowds before it was opened up on Monday. It's truly one of cool things for a Star Wars fan to experience. You can feel the detail in every inch of the place. Look at this hallway to nowhere:

This is just a alley to a staff area but the detail is amazing. Nothing feels like it doesn't belong here.
I thought it was very interesting that they built Black Spire Outpost in a way that you cannot see any other part of Disneyland despite being right next to the Matterhorn. I've never really understood why people enjoy most of Disneyland but visiting Black Spire gave me a good idea. When it all come together, it really feels like another world and it brings it to life in ways that are really unique.
I have to mention one of the coolest parts briefly, the whole area was interactive! You can use your phone to "hack" all sorts of stuff lying around the place. Send signals into the sky for the resistance, activate an old Imperial Probe Droid, scan supply crate to see what's inside or even get the monster from the trash compactor to pop out of the water fountain tank. Anyways, on the photos!

Black Spire Outpost:

The Falcon:
Oh boy, this ship is impressive to see in real life. It's one of those sights that makes your inner child just scream. I had to take a picture of it every I was near it because it is so detailed. I think I've got 57 shots of just the falcon on my camera. Almost worth admission just to see it in person.

Building the Saber:
This was a pretty cool experience. You picked your Kyber crystal and then assembled a lightsaber from one of four different styles but there were a dozen or so parts for each style. I went with Power and Control.

I wasn't able to make it into the Cantina but there was plenty of other places to check out and get a bite.

I don't know what dark magic Disney used to get Coca Cola to change their logo but it very cool to see so much stuff in Aurebesh

Shout out to the the staff in general. All of them were great and you could not get them to break character. I swear they must have had to memorized 30 pages of lore to get this job
