We haven't set a deadline or date but would never leave Terraria buggy or in a bad place - so as long as it takes really.

Did the devs ever expect Terraria to be this big and have this large of a community?
I'm not sure they ever really expected it but imo the incredible community and continued success of Terraria are directly related to the passion and dedication of the devs.
When will 1.4 come out for console?
Q3 2021 - it is in development now.
Why was the decision made to remove Ocram from console instead of bringing it to PC? Also same question but with the exclusive armor on console.
Needed to achieve a consistent experience and moving forward towards potential crossplay.
Any ideas when journeys end will be out on console?

I love the old 3ds terraria but this version was abandoned do you plan to someday update it to the actual 1.4?
No, we can't update 3ds any more as the hardware is too limited.
Will eventually tModLoader be available in any platform other than PC?
Probably not, it would be very difficult for the tModLoader team to port it to console and there are legal issues that would need to be addressed.
Why didn’t you finish/publish terraria otherworldly as a game? I know it was “terminated” 3 years ago but I never really understood why.
It didn't fit our original vision, so we scrapped it to focus on other projects
