Let me offer another data point. My son’s small world will no longer load. After selecting the world, the “loading world data” progress bar cycles to 100% and then . . . nothing. The Terraria logo continues to bounces along, and the background animation continues to cycle, but nothing else occurs.

Yep, same thing has happened on two of my sons medium worlds. Tried deleting the game and reinstalling which didnt work and tried docking it while loading up the world and nothing.
