Played a round of countdown and by some miracle completed with all 8 players, hit the 100% bug on leaving but the ESC workaround.
So far, so good!

Next game the group leader had gone afk or crashed because they vanished offline as did a few others so the eventual leader took a while to kick things off, not the best start but ok. Get into the run and after a few minutes the server flips me from the US east to asia (I check to get an idea of how bad things are likely to be prior to combat starting) leading to unplayable lag with 5 secs or more delay on shots, abilities and looting. I was about to manually drop but got a delta 3, tried to get back in and met a delta 5 followed by a foxtrot and an alpha.

Thought I'd give it one more go so back to desktop and started the game only to have it take so long logging into the character select screen that the uplay tab slides in from the left asking me to log in only to be met with yet another delta 3.

On the bright side I suppose at least the apparel event got kicked back a week.

Hello @misterfibble! Holy moly, that's a lot of errors you ran into. I'm so sorry about that! Hopefully, you aren't running into these issues any longer and are having fun with countdown, but if you are having any connectivity issues still, please try going through the steps in our FAQ here.

@MisterFibble Thanks for the update, but sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with this. The crashing issue is something the team is aware of and investigating. As for being logged into Australia servers, were you able to go through the troubleshooting steps I had linked previously?

@misterfibble I completely understand the frustration you are having with being switched which data center you are connected to consistently throughout the game. I also appreciate your suggestion to allow a player to choose the data center they are connected to in order to allow a more seamless experience. Just to check, were you able to give the troubleshooting a try to test if that made any improvements on the stability of the game connection?
