I see loads of you guys demanding a PvE "Dark Zone" because you don't want to PvP.
Let me ask you this; what would your PvE Dark Zone experience look like? I honestly don't think you've thought that through properly and how it relates to the game mechanics within. So let me make a few points and really explore what you guys really want:
It doesn't take a genius to see that as things are now, it won't work to simply prohibit PvP, put up a Dark Zone and let you guys play. It breaks the game.
So let me ask you this, what do you guys want? A PvE Dark Zone where all 12 players are in an automatic, extra large group to share supply drops, chest loot etc?
The only option to get around my points above would be to fundamentally alter how the Dark Zone works. In the case above, it would make the PvE Dark Zone objectively better in terms of getting loot. This is not feasible for many reasons as it would negatively impact the other Dark Zones. It also doesn't follow the risk vs. reward pattern that the game employs otherwise.
Lastly, removing all mechanics related to finite resources/PvP such as lockpicking and thieves' den would make the Dark Zone a mostly empty Landmark Simulator. Is that really what you're looking for?
I've now laid out objective arguments as to why a PvE Dark Zone would be bad and why it breaks the game.
Please, explain to me what your game experience in a PvE Dark Zone would look like and why you want it. How do you handle rogue mechanics and the finite resources?
Personally I think any solution that involves making your PvE Dark Zone 100% better than any other Dark Zone for loot is a no-go per default.
Convince me otherwise please!

- Firstly, the Dark Zone has finite resources. If nobody can stop you once you've looted something, it's all going to boil down to a ninjalooting contest. Is that fun for you?
- Secondly, all Rogue mechanics such as Thieves' den and picking locks wouldn't work.
- Thirdly, extraction and all relevant mechanics would be 100% useless with zero risk. Please don't tell me that the 2 enemies that spawn when you call an extraction are difficult. It would be a 100% time sink.
- Fourth, The Dark Zone isn't Dark without the lawlessnes within. It's basically the Light Zone(which is the rest of the entire game). This Light Zone already has supply drops etc and is fully single player/coop. Slightly unrelated, but why won't you just stay there?
