Hi, I was trying to link my Ubisoft account to my Xbox ultimate for cross play/cross progression and have accidently put in my wrong email (so linking an alternate Xbox account which i don't really use). I unlinked the Xbox account I'd first linked but it wont let me change it to the account I actually meant to link (I'd entered the wrong email which was for an alternate account I don't really use. Going by what I've read it seems it's impossible to change the account that's been linked. I'm desperate, any insight will be very well received. I have a friend who plays The Division 2 on Xbox and when we tried to play together the other day he reported that he could see my avatar in game although all my progress was set to zero. Also he couldn't invite me to his in game group. Since that time i found the section on linking an Xbox account to Ubisoft connect so I did so. As I've said I unfortunately linked the wrong account. I thought that this shouldn't make a difference as my friend I'm trying to play with is still friends with me on this alternate account so i thought that when I played the game next I would still see him as a friend on-line in the game. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and he didn't show in my in game friends list which I thought would span both my Ubisoft's friends list and the newly linked Xbox account's friends list. He could see that i was in-game but could not invite me to play co-op with him. Must i download The division 2 onto the linked Xbox account to be able to play with this friend (He plays on the new Xbox console). I hope someone can understand what I'm on about in this badly written request for help : ) Anyone able to shed light on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
