Recently picked up TD2 Ultimate Edition in the Christmas sale and this is driving me crazy. I don't know what it is that's causing this, but it's bloody infuriating. Every so often at random intervals the game just freezes and drops to desktop. Windows Event Viewer shows "ID: 4101 - display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
At times I can play for hours on end and the game runs fine, then the next time I fire the game up it can happen multiple times in the space of 30 mins or so. System is:
Ryzen 5 2600X
MSI RTX2070
16GB DDR4 3200
I'm running at 1080p with everything maxed. Windows 10 and all my drivers are fully up to date. This happens in both DX11 and DX12.
