A friend and I play Division 2 exclusively together, and so our progress has always been the same. During the current manhunt I noticed I was quickly pulling ahead of her. We both checked our remaining double XP bonus and despite the fact that I had most of my bonus XP/levels remaining (you get a bonus for 15 levels), her game was reporting that she had none remaining. This obviously should not have been the case as she had gained a total of 1 level since we started the new manhunt, far from the 15 level cap.
Neither of us had encountered this problem before. Fast forward a week, and at this point we are on the last step of the manhunt and I've naturally consumed all my bonus levels during the course of playing together. However, she never got any of hers, and so now she's 12 levels behind me (despite the fact that we were the same level at the start of this manhunt).
She has confirmed that her Season 2 pass is active, but as she has not had this problem in the previous 3 manhunts for season 2, that wasn't a surprising note.
While the bug itself is likely more complex than I'm giving it credit for, the issue seems to be that some players are simply not being granted their bonus levels at the start of a new manhunt.
Is there some a way for her to recoup the experience/levels and rewards she is due? Will contacting Ubisoft support yield the desired outcome? This is obviously frustrating for her, especially as she paid for the Season 2 pass, yet due to this bug she lost out on a lot of rewards she should have been rewarded for earning.
