My platform is the PC, and after the new patch went live, my game crashes every time I want to get back to Washington from New York. Is anyone else having this issue, or will I be stuck in NY until the next patch goes live?

Thank you, Ubisoft.

Hi everyone!

First, I want to apologize for the delay getting back to you all about this issue. We're quite busy at this time and that's causing some response delays but we are working to get caught up!

Second, thanks everyone for mentioning the workaround of calling for help and joining another player. Anyone that's tried this, can you confirm for me if the issue returns after you are no longer playing with that person? Or does this completely resolve the issue so that you are able to travel back and forth between DC and NYC from then on?

And @II__DimaS__II , you mentioned a blue screen on PlayStation, did you notice any error codes that accompanied that? If so, I would greatly appreciate if you could provide those! But if you don't know the code, I understand as it's been a while so no worries there.

Thank you everyone for your patience! If you have any other details about this issue we'd greatly appreciate it.

Hey everybody!

I'm making this post so I can mark it as an answer and have it show up all fancy for people who enter the thread experiencing this problem recently.

There is a known workaround to bypass crashes when moving between the two regions in-game.

The workaround is to disable any ongoing directives, which are your global difficulty modifiers. Make sure these directives set properly by disabling them, logging out and closing the game, then re-open it and double check to make sure they stayed disabled. After this, try to move between NY and DC (Or DC to NY if you were stuck in DC, as some people have reported in other threads.)

If this does NOT work for you, please let me know in a reply!
