Playing on PC, drivers are up to date, but suddenly only Division 2 is giving me pretty bad screen tearing all the time. Been playing for a couple years, and this is the first time it's happened. No tearing in Wildlands, Breakpoint, etc.

Verified local files as well, nothing needed reparing.

I'm running an Nvidia GeForce RTX2070 8gb.

Hey @steelrathdrpg

I'm sorry to hear you have started experiencing screen tearing. Did this start happening after the last patch for you, or was it playing fine after the update for a while too?

Or did it only start happening after a certain point in the game, or after you did something, or after experiencing a crash at all?

You could also check your Windows update history and see if it started happening following a Windows update.

Hey @steelrathdrpg , thanks for coming back to us with this additional information.

You've already performed most of the troubleshooting we'd recommend, but do please check for background programs - it could be that an update to something running in the background has caused this change. I'd particularly recommend running the game after a clean boot for a short while to see if the screen tearing is still present.

Can you also try enabling V-sync in the in-game options, at least temporarily, to see if the issue improves?

Please also double-check that Window itself is fully updated, and that you are running the game with administrator rights - you'll find these steps on our troubleshooting guide.

If the screen tearing does not improve, please then have a look at this support article, which describes a couple of system files we can use to help diagnose the issue. Let me know once you've got those two files generated, as I'll be able to create a support ticket on your account that you can use to securely send them across to us for a closer look.

Let me know if I can clarify any of these steps!
