So since TU9 I noticed the strange stutter/movement latency, that folk got during the beta of TD2, has come back.

Then when TU9.1 hit, it's unplayable. I have gone from a smooth game, to something that completely blocks up my CPU and freezes. Whenever I aim/shoot I can't do so smoothly. It's unplayable.

Has something from this update done something to the game that has caused such a staggering increase in CPU use?

Hey Lend0san!

When you get a chance, can you update your support case with the requested images and footage?
- An image showing CPU utilisation in Resource Monitor while running The Division 2.
- An image showing the video settings in The Division 2.
- A video showing the gameplay/performance you experience in The Division 2.

Hey there guys!

Thank you for sharing your experiences, and for sharing suggestions for workarounds.

If you encounter problems with stuttering graphics or high CPU, I recommend that you first check out this support article to help begin our investigation.

We have also found that DirectX12 can cause stuttering problems, and we would recommend players try switching from DX12 to DX11, or vice versa if they have DX11 running instead.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, could you please open a support case and attach an MSinfo and a DxDiag. Please include all troubleshooting steps you have tried in your case notes. Thanks!

Hello there KOSSAN.MU.eddie!

I understand that both yourself and other players in this thread have had similar issues with high CPU and stutters. When we begin an investigation, we treat every case and system as unique and begin our troubleshooting in a similar manner. This allows us to eliminate common causes for high CPU and performance issues, and also helps us to spot trends and other similarities in the cases reported by players when looking at system files. In some cases, we have to carry out further troubleshooting, which can take some time. We understand that this can be a long process, and we thank players for their patience and cooperation as we try out different steps to try and resolve the problems they have encountered.

We appreciate our players taking the time to carry out our suggested troubleshooting steps both before and after they contact us, and we apologise if these steps feel repetitive, or if the issue continues to persist afterwards. Please be assured that we try our best to resolve the issues that our players encounter.

In your case, I understand that upgrading the processor helped to resolve the issue, which I am happy to hear. If you encounter issues like this again, I invite you to return and we'll happily take another look for you.
