We opened the doors to the arena and over 7.5 MILLION of you rushed inside!

It’s been a thrilling week for the entire team, one that we’ll never forget. We’re utterly dazzled by your kindness, openness, and excitement throughout the entire Open Beta period. Everyone at Embark is full of gratitude, and it will fuel us as we continue to develop THE FINALS.

Now — it’s time for us to hunker down and get to work on all the fixes and improvements you have helped us identify over the past two weeks.

Our Open Beta is about to get spooky!
Welcome to the Halloween event 👻 You might find that Monaco feels a bit different in certain weather conditions…

To help you get in the mood, some creepy new bundles have arrived in the store. Get your costume on and enter the arena.

PS. We know there’s some scary cheaters, crashes, and bugs in the Open Beta too. We keep working to improve the experience and have a few fixes coming your way in a patch too, stay tuned.

Starting tomorrow, October 26, 2023, We're opening the doors to the first cross-platform Open Beta for THE FINALS. The test will run on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam and ends on November 5.

The Open Beta introduces the brand new Skyway Stadium arena to the map rotation, along with an all-new game mode — Bank-It. Additionally, the beta includes a free BattlePass with 16 exclusive, permanent rewards that players can unlock and keep for launch. The beta features cross-play and cross-progression between PC and consoles.

Starting June 14, Embark Studios is hosting its second Closed Beta for THE FINALS, the team-based, free-to-play shooter that pushes environmental dynamism, destruction, and player freedom to the limits. The closed beta will run for a week and ends on June 21.



“This test is a side-by-side comparison to our previous beta that we hosted back in March,” said Jonathan Lindsay, THE FINALS’ Executive Producer. “Most of the changes we’re introducing in this closed beta are under-the-hood type improvements, based on some of the key feedback we got from previous testing, related to performance, the through-the-gun experience, movement, and more.”


There’s some new content too, including new weapons for all the character classes, new cosmetics and skins, and a new progression system that gives contestants control over ... Read more
