Game ends when hero unit dies, and it's not stronger than a Lucifer or a Golliath, so it wouldn't be worthy in normal game.

You have pop-up windows explaining the way of playing, campaing is also a good way to learn. Reading the description of the units and building also make you learn how to play. Moreover survival mode played on easy mode 150 days/ Just a few infected (Easiest mode) is quite easy and a good way to learn the tech tree...

Maybe you have not explored well all the options.

Just in case, could you disable firewall, launch the game and see? Enable your firewall after this test

I don't think there is any specific issue with AMD processor or Nvidia gpus... I think the issue is simpler that we think we we have not found it out yet... Have you tried to launch the game as administrator?

IGOProxy.exe is EA software for their app launching. Check your antivirus or firewall to allow that .exe or delete it from the blacklist.
