Can you try to delete configuration file that usually is in the path Documents/My Games/They are billions and try to launch the game again?

Could you copy the lines in your ZXlog after the game got crashed? It's important that you copy them before launching the game again.

ZXlog file is usually in the path Documents/My games/They are Billions

The only allowed way to mod the game is by Map Editor.

Save Scumming is something that doesn't need external programs and even when it's out of the game developers concept of how to play the game we cannot do anything againts it.

Kind of hard to find when all you see there is Chinese maps

You only have to read the description of the units, buildings and tech tree options to make your own strategy to beat the game. It's all about reading.

I changed the resolution to 1920x1080 and it worked well. Actually I think I used to play on 1920x1080 and that's why things were looking weird now. That said, I'm 100% sure I didn't change it to 2560x1080 so I'm not sure what happened.

There is a proble with GoG version of the game and neither GoG nor us are able to find where the problem comes from. The only solution that I can offer you is you to send me your saved games to my personal email [email protected] and I will give you the files with the missions ends and screenshot of your statistics. You will be able to replay any mission of the campaign and you will your game beaten.
