@JupiterTKs @BlankMediaGames Ok, that kind of behavior should be automatically tracked by the app and sent to us so that we can fix it. Thank you for the information.
Hey Townies!
Today we are releasing a patch for mobile that will bring the referral and Trial game redeem code changes we recently released for web and Steam to mobile. We are also making some improvements to... https://t.co/uMIlpMZx80
@Real_Jesterfox I can look into the reason if you send me a PM with your username, or you can send a PM with the text "all" to the trial bot. https://t.co/nefVQDFT0W
@lauren_dewing No, you have an account with us, that is linked to your Facebook. If your Facebook is deleted you still have the account with us. It will just be linked with a no longer existing Facebook account.
@BlueTantawy You can request new codes at 10, 25, 50, 100, and 250 games played if you are a premium user. You will get 5 one time Trial redeem codes at each milestone.
@XenderX4 We moved to a Pay to Play model. Every users with at least 1 game played or had bought something was grandfathered in. We recently ungrandfathered any account that hadn't logged in in the last 6 months with less than 5 games played.
Hey Townies,
I come bearing bad news today. It seems that over the break we experienced a data breach. We are very sorry this happened, and are working with Rackspace to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thest... http://www.blankmediagames.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=95378
@SketchNI @PaulStuffins @BlankMediaGames We do not store any payment information, so none of that has been compromised. the payment apps store all of that. PayPal, Paymentwall, Play store, App Store, and Steam have all the payment information.
@PaulStuffins @SketchNI @BlankMediaGames They are salted. We have been working to decouple the game from the forums so that we can move to vanilla and not use the outdated forum software we currently are.
@chazzygif Yes, your Town of Salem information was still stored in our database. You will want to change your Town of Salem password. Your Steam information is safe though.
If you want to change your password you can follow the instructions in this link: https://www.blankmediagames.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=13987

@DXCataclysm It affects every user that has an account with us, but only their Town of Salem account information. Your Steam information is safe, but you will want to change your Town of Salem password.
@gamipersona If they share a password with your Town of Salem account they may. You should change your Town of Salem password, and the password for any site that used the same password.
@Userine021 You can send the email to Info@BlabkMediaGames.com. Just be aware we have a large influx of emails coming in, so it may take some time to get a response.
@MaskedBarista @LazyCreepypasta You were never in danger of having your Steam hacked, unless you use the same password for Steam as you do for Town of Salem. Be sure to change your Town of Salem password.
@MaskedBarista If it is the same as your Town of Salem password you should, but be aware you have a separate password for the game, unless you made it the same as your Steam password.
@LazyCreepypasta @MaskedBarista You still have a password with us. If you play the game you have an account with us that is linked to an email and a password.
@Owen_TMG We just recently started sending emails out to everyone to inform them of the breach, we are looking in to hiring a security firm to audit our stuff and make sure we plugged all the wholes, and we are discussing changing our hashing algorithm.
@solitary_gamer There is a large influx of emails, so it will take some time to get to all of them. Sending more than 1 email won't speed up the process as we process emails from oldest to newest.
@DarkFlame500 Your Steam password is safe as long as it wasn't the same as your Town of Salem password. If your account is inactive you likely never activated the forum account.
