There are similar issues like the one I mentioned. I know for sure that many players get a freeze that occurs when you join a server, and then open your menu, profile or interact with the top bar to change your volume (example report). I assume you are familiar with that one?

Another type of freeze happened way back when the COTD would restart the map before the first round started. A lot of players would start that round really late, because they would be stuck in the loading screen for a minute. (also mentioned in the same thread)

My freeze today was very similar, but it happened without me interacting with the menu. I'm not sure if all these issues are related, but I wouldn't be surprised. If I had recorded a video, it would show the "4 eliminations this round" box that is always displayed in a round, then a freeze, and them I am suddenly in the race with 11 seconds on the timer already. The game was completely unresponsive and did not register my inputs during that time.
