[2022] Frequent freezes while playing online

Every time when i play on any online server (for example cup of the day) the game will fully freeze for about 2-4 seconds about 1-3 times every couple minutes and when it unfreezes i can see a icon of a globe with a red x in the bottom right corner, this has been happening more and more in the past few weeks and is making the game unplayable. My pc can perfectly run trackmania at a locked framerate of 90 fps unlocked running at about 120 fps. This issue is becoming very annoying because of these freezes i can barely even finish one run of a map. I have already tried all of the trouble shooting technical issues steps.
Is there any way i can fix this or is this an issue on the games end?
