[2023] trackmania 2020 error code 404 while launching the game

hello

i played trackmania 2020 a while back after it came out but now i wanted to play it again i installed it from epic games first but was met with a quite annoying error it seems that the game cant connect to the servers and i am forced to play offline which at first i was fine with but it seems i cant even update the game i can only play the summer 2020 campaign and it is quite annoying since i tried a lot of different things to fix it i reinstalled it many times both from epic games and from ubisoft connect itself and i installed it on my ssd and my hard disk to see if that changes anything i ran it as admin i added the game to the windows defender firewall list since i saw that can solve some problems but not this one somehow but what i dont understand is when i played it when it came out i never had any issues suddenly now this bs is just not going away i just want to play the game like everyone else :::
