[2022] splitscreen Bug, one player does not have a car

I try to play a 2-player splitscreen game, and one player does not have a car

the one player was playing with keyboard and has no car to drive. He seems to be cotrolling the camera instead
the other player was using an xbox controller and had no issues playing
i can play in solo mode without issues, both with keyboard and controller
i havent tried to play splitscreen for some months now, so i cant tell when this issue started occuring
i have stabdard access and i just updated the game ( version 2022-07-06_11_37)
i have windows 10 software
