[2023] PS5 controller mistaken for xbox controller, buttons messed up

I just bought a new PS5 controller, and when I load up Trackmania the interface shows a bunch of xbox buttons and all of the buttons are different than normal, for example I have to press square to select something and I have to press X to go back as well as other buttons doing unexpected things. Also, when I go to the input menu, it says "Wireless controller" even though my controller is plugged in. If anyone could help me that would be awesome.
