After the latest update I noticed that the map editor will sometimes freeze when I undo, which I do with ctrl+z. The first time it happened I had time, so I left the game in frozen state and when I came back an hour later the editor was working again. I quickly saved the map and then recreated the issue by doing the exact same thing: removing a block, then hitting ctrl+z . The same thing happened, the game froze. This time I terminated the process and restarted the game, because I had the map saved anyways. Now after editing for a little longer, I ran into the exact same problem again. I removed a few blocks, then hit undo, and the game froze. Every time this happened it was with a non-custom block that I had previously placed in free block mode. Every time this happened, the game was still using quite a bit of processing power while frozen, 9% to 10%. The last time I also noticed that the RAM usage went down and settled at around 205Mb, I'm not sure about the other times. This time, the game is still frozen after some 70 minutes. I think I'll leave it overnight in the hope that it will fix itsself and I don't lose all my progress (why is there no autosave or save in 1 click?)

Also just in case it matters, this map was created a few versions ago and does contain a bunch of custom blocks, and I have many custom items and blocks loaded into the editor. Also I have OpenPlanet installed, but no scripts were active when this problem occurred.

Edit: When I woke up this morning, the game had fixed itself again and I was thankfully able to save my changes. At this time, the game used a bit over 400Mb, where normally it uses some 3Gb when editing this map.

Edit: I wanted to continue editing the map, but now the map editor doesn't load at all. It gets stuck just like I described earlier, but now it already happens right after clicking on the map to open it, when the screen shows "Initializing". I'm not sure what to do with this, I already removed all custom assets etc, did a reinstall of the game, put maps and items back in place, and exactly the same happens.

Hey there @Lenardjee,

Thanks for reaching out and for updating your post.

How are you getting on at the moment?

Are you unable to load into the map editor at all?

Or are you back to having issues when undoing block placements / removals?

Are you only unable to open this one map or is the entire editor failing to load?

If you've attempted any troubleshooting steps too, please let us know!
