Before the update my rank was Silver II, however now it's Bronze II.
This is particularly annoying, since ranking up is quite a long process.
In my opinion, this is unfair towards the whole community (if everyone got set back).
Ranking up is annoying and this should be fixed.
If someone has already ranked up for example from the Gold III they got set back to to Master I and adding a whole level would make them "above Master I" (which doesn't exist), just set that person's rank to Master III + the points they got before the fix.
