Been playing the new campaign (which has been really fun!), but there's something that's really getting in my way: the new blocks for effects, like boosters etc.
Like on map 04
They're cool blocks, but with my poor eyesight (I have a handicap) I run into a major problem: I can't actually see it. Especially while driving, when I am looking at the next corner, or at high speed when I have very little time to be searching for them. They're fine if they cover the entire road, but in configurations like this where there is a specific area I have to pass through, half the time I just miss it and have to reset.
It's fairly annoying, as I can't do anything about it, except for going into cam 7 and hoping I can roughly remember where it is, and hope for the best. But it's incredibly demoralizing to be on a PB run (specifically map 04) and just missing the booster after the last CP.
I've asked around for help, and I believe there isn't any setting in the menu to make them easier to see. I think it would be great if there could be setting, or maybe a change to the blocks themselves, to make them easier to see for people with impaired vision. Could be an outline on the edges, more opacity, or a line at the bottom with high contrast. Could maybe also be integrated into a colourblind mode. I think players with disabilities could really benefit from this, as the new blocks are causing some big issues now.
