[2022] Replay editor

I want to render a video in replay editor and add some motion blur to it so i checked the motion blur option, but i am not sure what Persistence and Duration stands for or what it exactly does. I noticed that i can set either 0 or 1 to persistence option, but i dont know what it does. And the duration option should be the lenght in seconds of my run? Thank you for clarifying
