Simply this. In TM² i already had this issue, and in that game for some reason driving a map offline would always guaranteedly fix it, but now in this game it is different.
In the new matchmaking, the servers go up right before the match starts, and as soon as the join appears the game is joined instantly, and this for some reason seems to be a pattern for this connectivity issue.
If i join COTD match servers right as it goes up, i'll have synchronizing but 100%. But if I wait a few seconds, it'll be fine, and synchronizing will show up and i wont be stuck watching nothingness until i reopen my game.
And now after I reopen my game, if I manage to join back I'd never have this issue. IF.
And on matchmaking now as the server is joined instantly, as the "JOIN" button is literally cosmetic for the fact that the game joins anyway, this issue causes me to atleast 50% of the time have to reopen my game as i'm stuck watching the map from a cam7 perspective, while the game waits for synchronizing to shows up, and it never does.
Can't this be solved by making another moments to force synchronizing? Like not only a single check when you join the server, but more a few seconds after.
