This has happened several times since the update a few days ago. I'll be playing ToTD live and when the session ends and the map reloads I am stuck in a spectator mode with no UI at all, just the camera floating high above the map apparently tracking a player. Controller does nothing. Keys do almost nothing. The Enter key will make a menu noise but does nothing as far as I can tell. Hitting Alt-F4 will bring up the "Do you want to quit?" window. I haven't found a way out of it without restarting the game.
