I'm coming out of today's COTD, and had to give up on the second round because I was re-spawned at the end of the track (completing the track in reverse was not an option). I also had this issue twice before, and in yesterday's cup this also happened to two other players.
Steps to reproduce:
What I expected: Getting sent back to the start of the track, as if it were the previous CP I crossed.
What happened: Got sent to the end of the track, forcing me to retire since I could not go in reverse to grab the CPs.
Instances where I had the issue:

- Qualify and enter into a cup of the day match
- On a round with eliminations, start the round but don't reach the first CP
- Press the key/button for respawn (not "retire")

- COTD 2020-12-24, division 8
