[2023] Car skin is shiny / glossy instead of matte

Ever since a few updates ago my car skin is fully shiny / glossy instead of matte and some shiny/chrome parts.

I thought maybe there has been an update that affects costum skins but it seems to affect all skins.
Even if I go into the skin editor and try to create a new skin it is impossible to make matte textures.
When I have the settings to be fully matte there is still a slight shine to the skin wich makes it look plastic.

I've been looking around to see if this was only affecting me but it seems like a lot of people are experiencing the same thing. In fact I haven't seen a single matte skin since it started to happen to me.
I've been watching plenty of streamers and they all have that same effect on their skin even though I know for sure they usually have matte / less glossy skins.

Is this a known issue and if so are you planning to fix it?
Or is it intentional?
