When playing the summer 2021 campaign, I toggled on the no interface option. When I pressed ESC to open the menu though, the game froze and I couldn't do anything to revive it. The menu sounds when pressing escape were still audible, and I could access the top bar including the options menu. The game, however, was completely frozen and had to be restarted.
