Can the limit how many KB of items can be embedded inside a map be increased or removed?
Currently, this limit is still 1 MB which is tricky to stay under especially how more detailed/complex the blocks are compared to Maniaplanet environments. One of the popular use cases for using the Mesh Modeler is by basing newly created items and custom blocks on existing blocks.
On top of that, in Trackmania (2020), the titlepack system is no more, so the only way to make use of items is by embedding them inside the map which this limit relates to.
A suggestion would be to increase this to 10 MB or even remove the limit completely. For online, this might have an impact, although the use of custom signs and skins already has its impact, so it would be fair to have the same freedom for items. And yes, it is possible to avoid this limit by using Openplanet, but not everyone has access to that or is aware of that.
