[2020] Input delay

For whatever reason, there seems to be a delay of around .2 seconds with every input I attempt to make in the game. It makes it really difficult to play because I'm effectively having to predict instead of react. I can't seem to figure out what is causing this. I've tried lowering my graphic settings to the base (I think, could be wrong) but that doesn't seem to be fixing it either. No one I talk to seems to have had this issue which makes me think it's something I'm doing wrong but I can't figure out what is different about my game. I'm trying to play on the keyboard that is attached to my laptop.
