And it's back again...
Trackmania doesn't start from Ubisoft Connect. File Corrupted it says and claims it is tampered with or infected. It is not. We've checked it. We've downloaded it normally through Ubisoft Connect.

We have Win10 "21H2" version 19044.1586, and Trackmania as well as the Ubisoft Connect app is allowed through the firewall, Connect cache is emptied, we run as administrator, installation files are verified, Windows is updated and Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 drivers are up to date.

Whenever TM2020 is updated it seems this error return.
This time i have tried all these suggested actions, NONE of them does any difference.

Yester day, after repeating all the actions twice it started working after a computer restart.
But today it is back again and after two attempts it still wont start. We ar trying to join a live event.

What is the problem? I want this fixed permanently but the error keeps returning.

Thanks.

Hello @moxieoxid thanks for posting and sorry to hear of this error message you are receiving.

Some players reported this issue was caused by anti-virus software such as F-Secure and making sure to whitelist the game in your settings, as well as your Windows firewall settings, could sometimes fix this. Please see this pinned post for evidence of this same error message > https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/112928/a-list-of-common-errors-problems-and-their-fixes?lang=en-GB

Please also check your Windows Defender settings to make sure the game is not blocked from launching or connecting online >
1. Open Windows Settings > Search for 'Virus & threat protection' > Protection History > then check for any recent blocked items or files
2. Open Windows Settings > Search for 'Windows Defender Firewall' > Select 'Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall' > 'Allow another app' > Add the game and any of its supported software to your accepted apps

If any game, launcher, or supporting software files (BattlEye, Fairfight, VM Protect, Easy Anti-cheat etc) have been quarantined as a threat, this can stop the game from launching or connecting online.

Hello @MoredDaBlob thanks for posting and welcome to the forums!

Sorry to see you've encountered this error message on a fresh install on a new computer. Have you tried any troubleshooting to resolve this, such as checking your anti-virus and Windows Firewall settings as posted in my previous message, as this was found to be the main cause of seeing this error message? Do let us know when you can?

Hello everyone, thanks for bringing this File Corrupted issue to our attention and commenting on this thread.

Our QA team have been investigating this issue and wanted to know the following if you still encounter this after the latest update to the game >>

  • Does the issue still occur after the latest update to the game?
  • Does Windows Firewall, antivirus or other programs prevent the game from launching?
  • Does the issue still occur after reinstalling the game altogether?
