[2023] Game won't launch (white screen)

So yesterday I updated Trackmania after a month or so of not touching the game.
Today there was another update. I let UbisoftConnect update the game and started it afterwards.
First all seemed fine: little window with the preparing to launch message opens and closes as usual.
Then the game opened in windowed mode (which it never did before) and stays at a blank white, almost full screen window. That's where it get's stuck. Clicking on the window just results in a "(not responding)" added at the top of said window, no error messages before or after closing the window.

What i already tried is:
-starting the game from the game files and/or as admin
-checked if some other processes may blocked my RAM and the available free space on my hard drive
-reinstalled the game and verified files multiple times before and after the reinstall.


Problem still unchanged.
