I was playing local multiplayer with friends via ZeroTier. I was hosting. This was always a pretty buggy experience, but just now I had the most gamebreaking bug. While playing fall - 01, suddenly my car went about 200% of normal speed. Obviously it was pretty easy to get a world record with this. I replicated the bug on the third track. On this track one of the friends I was playing with had the exact same bug, but I don't believe they managed to land a record.
Details (I don't know if any of these are relevant but anyway):
-ZeroTier up and running.
-Hosting local multiplayer game.
-Car skin disappears while speed bug happens.
-Speed bug happened seemingly random: after two or three rounds with, there was a round without.
Specs:
Windows 10 Home
Dell XPS 15 9560
Intel(R) CoreTM i7-7700HQ
(Please note that this was no intentional hacking. The fact that this record was so extremely obviously bugged should prove that I have no intention of getting fake records.)
I hope this get fixed soon, especially because I don't wat to have a fake WR. I have to note the local multiplayer (online and in couch coop) has been an extremely buggy experience over the past few months, so this didn't really come as a surprise.
