Which tournament and how many days are they late? :/

Last 2 Team tournaments are scheduled for payment in April.

2020 tourneys we did 1 month payments, 2021 tourneys we wanna do around 3 months

Lans prize money like Diabotical Factory, we send in advance, in case people wanna hand out winnings in cash. which apparently is what Russia enjoy doing

phys getting paid last. So once hes paid, then the TTS is wrapped up

Glitch engine, FPS. All engine updates will benefit Diabotical and future games

Hey everyone. The test tournament series is coming to a close over the next 2 months. Though a horrible name. It was a nice test for esports longevity, game modes, broadcasting and more.

After we have fulfilled our obligations to the test tournament series and the grassroots fund. We will continue to do esports with mojo as our esport manager, but with a focus on grassroots tournaments.

To the pro players who compete in the 3v3 circuit. To explain my decision here, since we have spoken of potentially continuing the circuit. I think it’s best we focus using available funds on improving Diabotical and achieving company goals.

To be as open as possible about the details behind this decision. The 3v3 circuit in 2021 if to be continued and matured as a product, would probably cost upwards of 400k USD. We have quite a clear plan for 2021 and 2022. Which involves regular Diabotical updates, but also releasing two new games. The projected budget we have (battle ...

  • Skybreak
  • Bioplant
  • Kasbah
  • Monolith
  • Overgrowth
  • Amberfall
  • Raya

this is pending final licensing and polishing/art so maps are ultimately subject to change :\)

The tentative list was done by pro gamer votes. So if anyone is unhappy we would like to shift the blame to Phaze. Phaze was the only pro gamer who turned up to vote. though quite odd since he doesn't compete in duel. Thank you for your time.

Lowering your first person sounds in team modes, allows for an easier time identifying and locating enemy sounds while in combat.

Ok a more serious answer, If we did this it could only be +/- 5% or so. Or it would give a huge competitive advantage. So not overly into the idea

Thanks. Sorry everyone whines so aggressively. I can’t imagine that’s fun for you all.

Not a problem, some people like new and others old, so there's an easy solution. Plus if we don't change 3rd person sounds there is no comp advantage really. Just personal preference

Hey Eggs.

I think the best thing to do with weapon sounds is create a system & menu where you can pick from our various 1st person sounds for each gun. That way you can use the ones that you enjoy the most.

Might revert some sounds for the NA tournament today so people aren't freaked out :D Then hopefully Frog can work his magic and create an option for 1st person weapon sounds soon.

Because of course it was good for match making but also gave some competitive drive to it and trying to achieve certain ranks was a good goal to have. I was high warlord on two modes and now when I look at my profile highest rank is vindicator II.

I love the changes but knowing I had achieved a certain rank and how many games I had played during three months to now see everything removed, just puts me off.

We are re working the leaderboards outside of duel. They will come back later

Np about having a opinion, its useful to hear. But to put your mind at rest! This was the fastest we could get a step in what we think might be the right direction for MM & the new pickup system before season.

It's gonna feel very ugly for now, as its a bit of a tech test :D We will refine the visuals and usability over next week.

An earlier mock up of what we are going for

The new queue system might be done by the weekend-ish. If it takes a little longer, its my fault for adding a pickup system to the list. I wanted to share the early design to get some pre ship feedback in-case you think we are headed in the wrong direction

Daily playlist:

It's not really daily... :) Duel has to stay. but the other modes should rotate daily between our most popular modes in their respective category. Card 1: Arcade modes (instagib, ffa etc). Card 2: team modes, card 3: aim modes. These modes won't be continuous. So you will get a little rank icon for that mode. Not sure how great this is, but let us kno...

That way we can start mentally preparing for there not being a daily patch ;)

• Fixed an issue that affected transitions from the warmup mode to the map vote screen when a match was found (fixed earlier today).

Thanks!

Create a custom game lobby - Select game mode Duel - Click the map thumbnail, then community. They should be there.
