At this time, we are currently working on a solution for those who are unable to create new characters. If you’re hitting a black screen on creation, please refrain from leaving it or tabbing out. The queue will pop up and your character will be available.

If you did leave queue, refresh your character list to see if that character is then available for log-in.

We’re looking into this! In the meantime, try to wait a little before looting the chest. If you run into a chest with this issue, allow the notification to clear before moving on to the next.

You may need to open/close the Outfitting Station a few times as it might not have registered or this may be part of a larger issue that’ll be resolved in tonight’s patch:
