I believe you may need to backtrack to a previous Main Story Questline to re-activate the fishing story quest line. Can you confirm if this helps?

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this situation! My previous update that we’re working on the fix (and it’s a priority) stands, but maybe showcasing a little of our process will help provide clarity. I understand how it can feel like something is being left behind or forgotten without a little bit of a look behind the curtain, if you will.

When an issue is reported, we look into it as soon as possible (the team is awesome and we usually are looking into it within hours, if not sooner) and dive into the reason it’s happening. Sometimes, we figure it out quickly. Sometimes we need a little extra information.

Then it needs to get fixed and go through testing. Once it’s past that point, it slides into the patch and makes its way to you. You can take a look at our previous patch history to get an understanding of how much time is between patches. (For example, our last patch was the day I initially responded, which means there hasn’t yet been a chance for it...

The compensation at this time was one for each person impacted because players still received Legendary tools/bags.

Greetings Adventurers,

We have provided compensatory items to players who were impacted by an issue with crafted Tier 5 Bags and Gathering Tools after the 1.7.0 Update, which has since been resolved.

Please note, this will be automatically delivered to the user’s inventory, but you may need to fully restart New World for it to appear into your inventory.

Hemos repartido objetos de compensación a aquellos jugadores que se han visto afectados por un problema con las bolsas de nivel 5 fabricadas y las herramientas de cosecha fabricadas tras la actualización 1.7.0, el cual ya se ha resuelto.

Recuerda que la compensación se entregará automáticamente en el inventario, pero quizá tengas que reiniciar el juego para que aparezca.

Is the issue completing quests related to the issue caused by Genesis? And did you do anything in particular / different to cause that problem again?

Can you provide more information? Is this related to Hit Your Mark (which we are adjusting as that wasn’t meant to increase damage) or something different?

I have had a player indicate that after they ran Amrine again, Yonas was available outside the Expedition. You might try this while we work on the fix.
