We recently announced that we would need to delay the end of Fallout 76 Season 5 and the start of Season 6 due to an issue affecting purchased rank-ups. However, after further investigation, we have found that we can safely move forward with starting Season 6 today, September 8, as scheduled.

We’ve been delving deep into the bug mentioned above, and have since found that it will not prevent any players from receiving the rewards they earned through rank-ups. While everyone will have their correct rewards from Season 5, we do still need to address the underlying issue that affects purchasing rank-ups with Atoms. As a result, we are going to disable rank-up purchases during the start of Season 6 until we can resolve the bug and release a hotfix. We will let you know as soon as we plan to re-enable rank purchases. In the meantime, all players can still rank up and claim Season 6 rewards normally by completing in-game Challenges to earn S.C.O.R...

Hello all,

We've discovered an issue affecting Season 5 rank-ups, where players in some cases may be unable to claim the rewards for ranks they've purchased using Atoms. This does not affect rank-ups achieved by earning S.C.O.R.E., but we are working hard to get this fixed up as soon as possible so that all players can enjoy the rewards they've earned.

As a result, we're currently planning to extend Season 5 by two weeks. During the first week, rank-up purchases using Atoms will be disabled while we work to resolve the underlying issue, and you will still be able to continue to ranking-up by earning S.C.O.R.E. During the second week, we will release our fix and re-enable rank-up purchases so that everyone has plenty of time to claim any rewards they unlocked during this two week period.

We know that many players in the community are excited to kick off Season 6, and we are too. However, we want to make sure all players can access thei...

Hello everyone,

We want to acknowledge that we hear your concerns about the fixes we released for C.A.M.P. building in Patch 21. So many of you are incredibly passionate about C.A.M.P.s in the community, and we absolutely love the creations you share with us and everyone else.

To give you more context, these fixes addressed issues that, while seemingly harmless on the surface, could and were being used by some individuals to take advantage of unintended exploits. Something we overlooked is how this would impact certain quirks in the C.A.M.P. building system. This is unfortunate, and it was not our intention to limit or remove parts of the C.A.M.P. system, but those issues needed to be fixed.

That said, we really appreciate all that you do and create, and we want to do right by you. The situation is not as simple as reverting changes, which could cause exploits and performance issues to return. However, we are actively looking into our available options to b...

We are aware of the issues affecting the Future-Tec C.A.M.P. and the Secret Service Camo Underarmor, and we are actively working on fixes for both items.
