Unfortunately, this change was missed in our initial patch note creation process and was not intentionally hidden. We've updated the patch notes to include this in the balance section:

  • (Added April 9) Crafting: Several craftable hats and outfits have had their crafting costs increased and Cap values decreased.
    • Dev Note: Previously, it was very easy to gain lots of caps by crafting and selling these items. We've made balance adjustments accordingly to prevent them from being exploited, without making them too difficult to craft. This was missed during our initial patch notes creation process.

You are encouraged to keep any Legendary you have if you want to trade them. We will have more information on the Legendary Vendor and Scrapping closer to that release. Most likely in an Inside the Vault.

This is currently planned to be fixed in an update scheduled for early April.

The rare Fasnacht masks are attainable, they are just very rare. Thanks to your feedback, we’re looking into improvements we can make to the drop rates in the future for rare item rewards associated with time limited events.

Yes, the reporting system is not an automated system. Reports will be looked into and evaluated by our Customer Support team.

While it is good to take initiative in fighting against certain things, you should always ask yourself "How could this be abused?" and "Could/would anyone abuse it?".

While Implemeting the ability to report players seems like a good idea, with the number of genuine griefers and given how petty some people can be, the ability to report players without imediate proof of the claim will only lead to abuse.

Hello,

We posted a response in this thread on the same topic. Essentially, accounts that are receiving this login message have been identified by our Customer Support team as having acquired over 100,000 of one or more rare items in-game through duplication. These accounts have been suspended until this issue is fixed in a future patch, and those players will be notified once their Fallout 76 access has been restored.

Thank you

Hello,

Players who receive the “Login failed. This Account is not Authorized. [4:8:2000]” message when attempting to log into Fallout 76 are using an account that may have been suspended by our Customer Support team, and should check the email address associated with that account for a message from us.

Those who have been suspended this way were identified as having acquired over 100,000 of one or more rare in-game items within 30 days of play through duplication exploits. These accounts have been suspended from Fallout 76 until this issue is fixed in a future patch. Once a fix is live, we will reactivate these accounts and notify the owners that they can access the game again, but any further violations of the ...
