Simon "Lowko" Heijnen, a tremendously passionate contributor to the StarCraft community, is not only an amazingly consistent video producer, a charismatic streamer and an enthusiastic caster; he’s also a remarkably upbeat, chill and humble guy you could just be friends with and share StarCraft tips (and cheesy jokes). Lowko often participates in major events and you can always be sure that he’s having fun, either it’s broadcasting from the Blizzard booth at Gamescom, or casting for HomeStory Cup. Reflecting his winning personality, his voice pack is full of energy and positivity, passion for all things StarCraft and genuine Dutch charm.

Bug Fixes

General

• AI: A.I. Heroes will no longer immediate run to Mercenary Camps after they spawn.
• Fixed a rare issue that could cause the client to crash.

 Battlegrounds

• Boss Mercenaries: Fixed an issue allowing Boss mercenaries to be slowed.

The Nexus Forces have taken over a Volskaya Industries Factory - fight to the death to obtain its manufactured power! Two teams enter, one team leaves.

Rules:

• Battle it out on a single-lane Overwatch-themed Battleground known only as… the Trial Grounds.
• Shuffle Pick
  • Choose from one of three Heroes at the beginning of the match. Choose carefully though, you won’t have the opportunity to choose again after rounds.
• Elimination
  • A round is won when all Heroes on the enemy team are slain.
• Best of Three
  • The first team to win two rounds will win the Brawl!

This week’s Heroes Brawl is Silver City! Battle against the enemy team on this single-lane Battleground featuring a familiar design straight out of the High Heavens, Mercenary Camps ready to be swayed to your team’s favor, and tons of action. Queue up, choose your hero, and try your best to send the enemy team to the Burning Hells!

Rules:

• Shuffle pick - Choose from one of three Heroes before entering the battle.
• Standard play - no talent or level restrictions.
• The first team to destroy the enemy Core wins!

Welcome to Season 1 of the 2019 Arena World Championship (AWC). As the Battle of Dazar’alor reaches fever pitch, the most battle-hardened PvP-ers of the Horde and Alliance are preparing to showcase their skills, kicking off this Friday, February 8. Here’s what you need to know!

The February 2019 Ranked Play Season is now live—and we’re unveiling a new card back you can add to your collection!

Dough-n’t wait for your time to rise in the ranks, because you won’t want to miss out on the freshest card back ever to grace Hearthstone. Only the upper crust of players will be able to acquire the Pizza Stone card back! Olive this card back, and we’re sure you’ll love it too.

These card backs replace the art decorating the reverse side of your cards and are a great way to show off your Hearthstone accomplishments. Add the Pizza Stone card back to your collection by winning 5 games at any Rank in either Standard or Wild Ranked Play modes. Today kicks off the start of a new season of StarCraft: Remastered! It’s time to see your New Year’s resolution through and jump on the ladder.

As usual, you’ll need to complete five placement matches to get things started. After that, you’ll be placed in a rank based on the following rank ranges.

These ranges will only apply to players who complete their placement matches within the first two weeks of the new season. Afterwards, we will move to a percentage-based system, as shown in the image above.

A new season also means new rewards. The brutal Hydralisk is our featured unit for the season, and the portrait borders are Zerg-themed.

• Fixed a number of issues with tooltips in non-english clients.

In an update scheduled to arrive February 5, several cards will be changed.

When we talk about changes that are in store for Hearthstone cards, we normally talk about each card individually to explain why we think that change is needed.

There are many ways to celebrate the Lunar Festival. Food, gifts, ceremonies… and strapping saddles onto dangerously fast fireworks!

Rules:

• Rocket Riding
  • Heroes will automatically move toward their mouse cursor’s location. You just need to steer!
  • Speed boost pads can be found around the track. Steer over these to make a break for first!
• Envelope Pickups
  • Blast through the Red Envelopes placed around the track to gain one of three abilities:

Rocket

A bouncing rocket that will explode on the first enemy it contacts.
