Good work DICE 🤷🏼‍♂️

Please check the OP - we specifically note Xbox One crashing issues and general stability issues.

Once we should have confirmation of Certification tomorrow and will have final final details on when the hotfix will deploy.

Compared to some of the other issues, it was a really easy fix. This doesn't mean it took priority over other issues - the fix was found much faster and didn't take any significant time compared to other issues like the engine streaming rendering issue resulting in floating hats/invisible players (Just a note, to be clear - that issue isn't about skins. If it was, we could just disable affected skin until it's fixed. It's a bigger issue than previously thought when it first came out and is the top priority right now.)

Some of the general stability improvements will address some of the issue, and we're working on more for the next main update (mid-July).

We had players modding maps and turning out the lights in BF1 and things literally looked fine. With the average battlefield blue filter, things would be fine. Doesn't help that the BFV character models blend into f**king everything, but that really isn't a "map factor". That's literally flipping a switch, f**king literally. You can preach about "quality standards" but that would ring more hollow than ever, with the current broken state of the core stability of your games mechanics.

Stop with the bullshit, we aren't stupid, and your team has been feeding us shit for months.

"Blah blah, maps take a long time to make, let me ignore all the negative feedback about how shit the maps are after wasting time developing them with AI quality control. They take a long time (even though topographically there are like three hills on the more complicated maps), so even if they are bad, players should be thankful." - Jeff

Always appreciative of your constructive feedback.

Have a fantastic and positive day!

Wow, nice!! Looking forward to seeing that. Any ETA?

I’ve got all the approvals for the content. I just need to sort out the post itself. A week or so.

A short video on what the process actually is would educate a lot of people, like a vidoc like Bungie does. Or a write-up. Maybe an outline on the process that would explain the start to finish so people can understand what all is involved.

Anyways, take care amigo. We know you're doing your best and it does show and we do appreciate what you do here.

I am working on this badass Community Broadcast/Letter from the Front that includes a 90 minute video about level design - the process, challenges, etc.

If I remember correctly, back in BF1, I think i heard a designer mention that it takes a minimum of 2-3 months per map. And that’s if they have it planned out (location, style, etc.)

It's more than one outfit, and quite possibly not connected to outfits at all but a rendering issue.

Bingo. Rendering issue.

"Its more than that" What do you mean by that? more outfits that cause the bug so disabling one wouldnt fix it? Or is it more of a internal problem where its showing up when not using the outfits people have reported?

Talking with the dev team 5 minutes ago, it’s not even skins that’s the issue. It’s an issue with the stream rendering that affects players randomly.

I noted an example elsewhere, but:

You and I are standing side-by-side on a map. Player C runs by. Your client doesn’t render Player C properly, so he/she looks glitched/invisible at a certain distance, but I see them just fine.

TL;DR - it’s a client-side intermittent (not affecting everyone the same) rendering issue based on distance from the other player.

I’ve literally had people say that to me, yes. Or “just turn the lights out and make a night map; should be easy”.

So flipping a switch on dozens or even hundreds of vehicle skins is easy, but disabling the few invisibility-bugged skins is just too complex?

It’s actually not related to any specific skin. It’s related to a rendering streaming error that affects seeing some players clientside.

Example : you may see a player that isn’t fully rendered(invisible) but the player next to you sees them clearly.

If its your "top priorities" Then a reply to my post saying yes or no to my evidence I presented should be something you should be doing. I posted already in here with a link to said screenshot and you can look up my post by yourself to see suggestions to see what the outfit could be.

Also you want us to buy XP buffs where in previous games they were free in crates cases? either the money pool for BFV is so low that you need to resort to this awful tactic or greed has become the top priorities for yous guys.

I forwarded the information you shared. From what the team has discussed internally, it’s more than that, though.

Yea so last chance is Wednesday! Jesus H Christ. You literally thanked me for pointing this out 2 weeks ago. 🤙🏼

And two weeks ago I didn’t move it to Wednesday as it’s a CTA - Call to Action.

It’s really simple, man. If I put “Last Chance” on Wednesday and it ended before someone saw the post or knew, I get railed on here about not letting people know ahead of time.

Therefore, I post this as a CTA to let people know they have a limited time to complete the ToW Weekly Storyline before it actually ends.

And yes, I did thank you because I do appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, but this is how it’s going to be.

Have an awesome day!

And the reminder is that you have one day left, so, it’s not an error. Have a great day!

:) I like that you adopted my whole naming thing for Community Broadcasts.

Anyways, they're still working on it - it doesn't look like it will make it into this hotfix, so we're tracking for the mid-July update. We do have an On the Battlefield video about Al-Sundan that we'll be pushing out for it as well.

Well which team is responsible for testing the updates before they go live? Because they suck. Every patch brings more bugs and more issues. None of this frustration is aimed at you Braddock, I know you don’t have a hand in this nonsense. It just feels like dice has completely lost their way. Everyone I know personally stopped playing this, and I’m trying so hard to hang tight and bear with you guys but it’s getting to the point where idk how much patience I have left. I want dice to succeed. They just don’t seem like they want to.

And I feel you, buddy. I really do. I know it's frustrating - and I know patience is wearing thin.

But not top enough to get fixed faster than the tank skins.

Different teams, dude. And the issue is more complex than then switching a code off on some skins that hit the Armory when they shouldn’t have.

If you play Battlefield, you have an EA/Origin account. It’s the account you linked your PSN ID/Xbox Gamertag to.
