It's not a 43Gb update. That is Origin preparing. If you click Repair, it will correctly show the size mentioned at the bottom of the notes.
I think it's absolutely ridiculous that each patch size is no less than 10gb. There are people that have limits on their quota, and slow download speeds.
Well, we could make smaller updates - but you'd get less content.
Would've really preferred the Red army and SU. Only 2 new maps is kinda boring also. No new American foghters/planes?

It looks like the hotfix that corrected this wasn't applied to the 5.0 update. They're holding a meeting in an hour to address it.
Didn't want to make a whole post about this, but is there a patch coming today as well? In game yesterday a lot of people mentioned the patch "tomorrow" but I can't imagine there are two patches this close together. Is the patch implemented today but Pacific isn't playable until the 31st? Thanks.

You're telling me that it's designed to tell the player to complete a non-existent assignment to unlock if you happen to pick a seemingly arbitrary combination of gadgets? What on earth is the rationale here, and what are players who don't frequent Reddit supposed to think?
No, that’s not what I’m telling you. It is as designed to not have the Fliegerfaust and grenade launcher both equippable.
The assignment issue is a bug the team is aware of, but as the assignment/mission has been completed, the workaround is to switch out the grenade launcher.
