Greetings,

Since the Extended Downtime on 8 May where we made significant changes to our network infrastructure aimed at hardening the cluster against future DDOS attacks, we have been closely monitoring our services for any connectivity issues player might be experiencing.

One problem affecting a limited group of players that surfaced was an issue with maintaining a stable connection to EVE for pilots using WOW! Internet as their Internet Service Provider (I...

Hey folks,

It seems like the online form has been having a bad time and is throwing error 500. To make sure that nobody interested in applying for the CSM 15 misses the deadline, I will be extending it until Wednesday, 13 May 23:59 UTC.

Hey everyone,

It looks like there are a few issues with our SSO resulting in failed login attempts in the game or on the website. The error messages in the launcher and problems with purchases may also happen to some of the players. We are working on bringing the respective services back and will let you know when they are operational again. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Can you please try the following steps to see if that resolves this particular problem?

  1. Close the launcher
  2. Open the RUN dialog (WindowsKey + R)
  3. Type in %localappdata%\CCP\EVE\QtWebEngine
  4. Rename the “Default” folder to anything else
  5. Start it again

I am closing down the thread since the conversation is getting off topic to the extended downtime that we had. To report or check on status for any connection issues, please head over to this thread.

Thanks!

The extended downtime has concluded. We are now closely monitoring all traffic and the health of our services.

Let’s keep this topic on point for reporting and discussing connectivity issues around the DDoS incidents only.

Here we go! TQ is up and accepting connections.

Comment

That is a mode that lets our developers and testers log in to the Tranquility server and perform various checks and tests on a live server before we open the gates and let everyone log in to EVE.

Comment

We are starting TQ in VIP mode but there are several tests that need to be performed before we will start accepting connections.

Our engineers continue working on the necessary upgrades. Things are going well.
