Thanks again. I’ve discussed this with the team and this is actually working as it was before:

• If you have the access level required to move bookmarks, dragging moves them (and shift+drag copies them)
• If you don’t have move access (but have copy access), dragging falls back to copying the bookmarks instead of moving
• If you have neither copy or move access, nothing happens

This will be why you are seeing inconsistencies between different folders with different access levels

All that being said, its clear that this isn’t obvious or and ideal way of doing things, and we’re not super happy with it at this time. We’re going to discuss this and see if theres a cleaner solution. Suggestions welcome

I understand. What we are offering now is three times better than what you had 3 hours ago, but sadly due to performance concerns we couldn’t increase the benefits even further. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to beat this!

Well the number of total bookmarks and the number of folders are both very relevant when it comes to server performance. Within each folder however you can have a near infinite number of sub-folders. I’m not sure exactly what your use-case is so I’m unsure if this meets your requirements

Unfortunately expiry can only be added at creation. You’ll need to remake the bookmark to add expiry.

Shift+Drag copies instead of moving

Personal folders cannot be changed to shared but you can create a shared folder and copy bookmarks across by shift dragging.

This increases the shared bookmark limit from 500 to 1500 when only considering online folders (and much more if you include offline folders)

There are issues with chat windows and the Selected Item window width, which we have fixes in the works for, are there other windows you are experiencing this with?

No logic, just a missed bug, fix is on the way.

Thanks for joining us for todays mass test! There are a few changes we’ve made to the Shareable Locations system that we want to draw your attention to as we are looking to gather some feedback on these aspects:

• Change in Terminology - The specific aspects of shareable locations have now been renamed to be clearer and better match the EVE universe. You now Connect to Shared Folders, and they can be Online or Offline (formerly active or inactive)

• Changes to the right click in space menu - When right clicking in space Saved locations will now all be organised under a “Locations” entry, rather than in the first menu. This change has been done for consistency with the other menu options (Stargates, Stations etc), and to keep the menu clean and clear, but we understand that this is a significant change to the usage of the menu.

We don’t have a current schedule for this but Duality will be open after the masstest, and will probably stay open for at least a short while until we move the Bookmark feature to Singularity.

We’re aware of issues with Catalina at the moment, sorry for the inconvenience while we solve this
