Lord Vader Potential Balance Issues

Hi Holotable Heroes,

We are aware of potential balance issues involving Lord Vader after a recent fix (Lord Vader's My New Empire Leader ability was applying Critical Hit Immunity to all allies instead of the target ally). We are investigating if this merits any changes and will let you know in advance if changes are coming.

Facebook Issue

Hi Holotable Heroes,

We are aware of an issue connecting Galaxy of Heroes to Facebook, particularly with the “find allies” feature. Players who have linked their game to Facebook and are attempting to search for allies among their Facebook “friends” will see a message stating “App is in Development Mode.”

We are working on a fix for this issue. In the meantime, players can log in and make progress without issue. However, social interactions that use Facebook will encounter errors. Also, players not logged into Facebook cannot link their accounts until we resolve the issue.

Hotfix: 01/26/2022

Hi Holotable Heroes,

This hotfix addresses the issue with Jedi Master Kenobi. Galactic Republic tanks should now Taunt as intended under a Jedi Master Kenobi lead.

Also, there is some confusion relating to Admiral Ackbar's Omicron ability, which states "If all allies are Rebel, whenever an ally's buff expires, they gain 3% Turn Meter."

In this case, "they" refers to the ally whose buff is expiring.

We will change the text in a future update to provide more clarity.

Today’s update brings Second Sister - the first character from the Inquisitorius faction - to Galaxy of Heroes! There’s also some info on Kyle Katarn shards, a new Omicron character ability update, and several fixes.

Also, February's daily login unit will be Shore Trooper.

SHARD SHUFFLE
  • Kyle Katarn shards are now farmable from Cantina 6-A. They replace Barriss Offee shards, which can still be farmed from Dark Side 5-C (Hard).

Book of Boba Fett: S1:E4 SPOILER CHAT

At least we got some insight into Boba's motivations. I can buy that he wants to leave the bounty hunter life behind. But, he's doing it to start a war with a gang syndicate, so kind of counter intuitive. If he has "plenty of credits" why not go enjoy retirement?

Granted, Boba Fett: The Golden Years is likely way less interesting. Unless it were done as a Golden Girls-esque sitcom.

Which I understand, I do, but can we not buff LV more instead of nerfing other teams?



We don't like to make changes to kits post-launch if we can avoid it. So, it's not done lightly...which means I'm sure all options were considered.

It's not simply about the squad being undersized. GLs can (and should be able) to beat other GLs. It's more so that a GL + Conquest character is the current pinnacle, and they should not be defeated by a GL in a much weaker squad.



Thanks for chipping in, are we then expecting to see changes that prevent Iden Versio as well?



Haven't heard anything from dev side regarding Iden. If I do, I'll be sure to let ya know.

It's not simply about the squad being undersized. GLs can (and should be able) to beat other GLs. It's more so that a GL + Conquest character is the current pinnacle, and they should not be defeated by a GL in a much weaker squad.



As long as it's still a GL for a GL whh does it matter about the squad that surrounds each? GL Palp and Wat have been a thing for far longer. Synergy and strategy should always trump GP.



I think the distinguishing factor is the inclusion of a Conquest unit paired with the GL. Those two units together represent the pinnacle.

Today’s update brings the formidable, cunning Imperial commander, Iden Versio, to the holotables! Along with Iden, Carth Onasi will be getting an Omicron ability, we got some additive drops, some shards accelerating and shuffling, multiple fixes and updates have been implemented and more!

Additive Drops
For a limited time, Death Trooper has been added to all Fleet Battles nodes as bonus drops! During this event, the character's drop rate on each node has been scaled to Ship Energy.

Fleet Battles are rewarding bonus drops from 01/19 through 01/25.

Very interesting - I didn't see it anywhere, but I assume this is a Marquee? Also interesting how her full name is "Inferno Squad" - do we expect a rebel version of her to come out too??



Apparently, the official name is simply "Iden Versio"
I added the "(Inferno Squad)" bit after reading some notes on the design page referencing the inspiration of the character kit.

I've since updated the posts to remove the (Inferno Squad)" from her title.
