Hi Holotable Heroes,

Last week we became aware of a loophole with Galactic Legends that causes Rey and Kylo to prioritize attacking an invulnerable character repeatedly. This normally cannot occur but there is a special case when General Skywalker is paired with Wat Tambor and Fives that causes the Galactic Legends to behave unexpectedly.

We are aiming to deploy a fix to prevent this behavior on 4/23 and this change will be in effect for the next Territory War (NOTE: AI is not impacted by roster lock). This update will not impact the abilities of any of these characters and their kits will not be altered.

We were just made aware of some possibly unintended interactions around Galactic Legends AI. We need some time to dive into this issue and investigate. We will let you know early next week when we have reviewed the data if or what changes we plan to make to address this.

We’ve been watching the data on Galactic Legends and observed some players struggling with completing Tier 6 of Supreme Leader Kylo Ren’s event. We will be adding the following hint to the tier:

Increase Supreme Leader Kylo Ren’s Mastery in order to overwhelm his opponents. The granted ability, That’s An Order, can be used to provide him with additional turns and prevent him from being defeated for a short time.

Most players are using squads with the right amount of power but possibly a weaker combination of characters than we expected. We also suggest experimenting with team compositions that can funnel Kylo extra turns and protect him while he ramps Mastery.

We hope these hints help you complete your journey to Galactic Legends and we will continue to closely review the data around win rates and team compositions.

We are temporarily disabling linking accounts through Facebook due to a technical issue. We are working on a fix for a future update but you will need to use the previous process of contacting Customer Support to Link Accounts. Hi Holotable Heroes,

Today we are are excited to announce and launch the Player Early Evaluation Test program. Similar to the Beta program we had previously, it provides players an early look at the development process and a chance to provide feedback directly to the team. Initially this will be a very small group of players but plan to grow this into a wider program that many more players can get their hands on.

There will be several waves of invites over the next few weeks and as we continue to expand the program in the coming months. Please fill in this survey if you are interested in joining the Player Early Evaluation Test.

As we begin to explore more and different themes for the Grand Arena Championships, we start having feats that qualify a variety of different units to make progress with. In order to not clutter the UI with one-off descriptive tags on the units that are only used in Grand Arena, we’ve created this forum post, as well as an in-game newsletter, that outlines what characters work with what feats. Today’s Update brings a new type of character to the Holotables, Galactic Legends! Supreme Leader Kylo Ren and Rey are the first Galactic Legends and are some of the most powerful units in Galaxy of Heroes. Each Galactic Legend has a unique Ultimate ability that charges over the course of a battle, such as Rey's Heir to the Jedi or Kylo's Depths of Rage. These powerful abilities can aid a variety of different squads with incredible bonuses to turn the tide of battle.

Want to get started on either Rey or Supreme Leader Kylo Ren? Find all the requirements for either character in the Journey Guide. These events are available permanently once you qualify for them; you can start unlocking these new characters whenever you are ready.

Today, we’re excited to begin rolling out the new Version Update that introduces Galactic Legends. Per our normal roll out procedure, the build will become available to all players over the next 24 hours or so. Once approximately 24 hours has passed, players will be required to update if they haven’t done so already. The Galactic Legends events will be available with the release of the required Update (~3/25/2020).

GALACTIC LEGENDS:

Introduced back in December with the Journey Guide, Rey and Supreme Leader Kylo are the first two Galactic Legends units to come to the holotables. Deeply inspired by Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Galactic Legends feature amazing new Ultimate Abilities and are some of the strongest units ever in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.

We hope you are staying safe and healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak. These are exceptional times where most of us are experiencing some disruption in our lives and are potentially spending more time in our homes. Our studio has taken the precaution of moving the team to working from home but we do not expect this to significantly impact our release schedules.

The team will continue our same focus on Galaxy of Heroes (albeit now remotely) and coordinate releases as usual. We know many of you have some additional time on your hands and we are looking into doing something fun to help fill your time at home.
