Sith Eternal Emperor and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker will soon be joining the Holotables! Transform your roster with these Galactic Legends in their ultimate forms. Which path will you choose to lead your squad to victory?

Both new units can be viewed in the Journey Guide prior to their release and will feature a similar power level as Galactic Legends Rey and Kylo. The first group of requirements are available below and will be in the Journey Guide after the Update this week. The requirements for both these characters will be released periodically like before but within a shorter time frame. We will be announcing the next requirements roughly every 2 weeks so keep an eye on the forums for Sith Eternal Emperor and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker news and fulfill your destiny with two of the galaxy’s most powerful icons!

Thank you all for the great feedback on Galactic Challenges so far. We’ve been reviewing your comments along with our data and there are several areas we are looking to make changes. We want to finish the exhibition to gather as much data as possible before we start tinkering with the system but one of the most beneficial parts of using our new tools is that it enables us to respond to your feedback faster. A large part of this journey was building the tools and framework needed to create more events efficiently, but the next steps are all about expanding the variety and complexity of Galactic Challenges. We are already working to expand Faction, Planets, Feats, and Modifiers over time and we will likely be making additional changes before the next set of events.

Hi Holotable Heroes,

Today’s update addresses some of the known issues in yesterday’s release. One important change is to raid units. All raid units will be immune to changes to their max Health. This already applied to Raid Bosses so this will only impact the additional enemies in boss encounters. This change will prevent the lock up some players were experiencing when trying to retreat from battle with certain characters.

• UI - Fixed an issue that caused the interface to be hidden during the Ultimate animations for Galactic Legends Rey and Kylo Ren including the amount of damage dealt

In this update, we’re proud to present Galactic Challenges! This all-new game mode represents a huge step for Galaxy of Heroes as it lays the foundation of our new content initiative, allowing us to generate fresh content, challenges, and feats on a regular basis going forward.

With Galactic Challenges, players will be presented with new battles that provide the opportunity to utilize many parts of their character and ship roster in a fun and meaningful way. Galactic Challenge events keep the game fresh and engaging by offering interesting and unique encounters that feature always-changing combinations of modifiers, locations, and conditions, along with multiple tiers of difficulty. Modifiers add a wide range of positive and negative effects to the battle, meaning you’ll have to mix up your strategies to succeed.

Mon Mothma's leadership and fearlessness propelled her to the top of the Empire’s “Most Wanted” list and served as an inspiration to all members of the Rebellion. Ever mindful of the consequences of war, but always willing to stand for justice, Mon Mothma is a welcome addition to Rebel squads as she uses the Field Promotion ability to summon increasingly stronger Rebel units to battle.

Thankfully, many Bothans don’t have to die for you to add Mon Mothma to your band of Rebels. You can obtain this Rebel non-combatant leader by completing the new Marquee Event, The Alliance Chancellor!

We are making changes to Scarif Rebel Pathfinder’s Basic Ability in this week’s Update with Mon Mothma. The release of Mon Mothma will create a new team of Rebel Fighters (a list of which you can find here) and it was necessary to make a few changes to Scarif Rebel Pathfinder to allow this squad to have its own unique strategies and reinvigorate several less used characters. Without these changes, Mon Mothma’s kit had the potential to cause a nearly infinite loop when combined with the Turn Meter gained from Scarif Rebel Pathfinder’s Basic Ability, Dig In.

The bond forged on Cloud City between one of our favorite droids and Wookiees showed the Empire this unlikely duo is a force to be reckoned with. In addition to being a unique combination unit, Threepio & Chewie offer new gameplay strategies by providing both damage and support abilities, ramping damage, and afflicting Blind on enemies. Only an overgrown mophead would miss out on the chance to add Threepio & Chewie to their collection! So, don't do anything foolish and make sure to participate in the Marquee event, Escape From Cloud City.

Today’s Update improves many of the underlying technologies that we use to create Galaxy of Heroes. These significant tech upgrades enable us to continue to support this amazing game for years to come and bring you a Star Wars experience that’s better than ever.

It may seem like nothing has changed when you log in, but there are plenty of updates under the hood that allow for numerous improvements in the future. With a unified toolset and modernized APIs, these changes allow us to access more design tools and build a smoother process for developing new content. The updated version of Unity (the game engine used to create Galaxy of Heroes) expands the possibilities of what the designers can do when they create characters and events.
