Today there were several issues regarding the Season’s Sorcery event with the achievement to “Open Ornaments”.

First, the achievement was not appearing for many players, but this should now be fixed.

Second, the achievement chain did not start at the intended "Open 1 Ornament". We have issued a fix, which corrected all players' progress.

Separately, there is an issue with the Campaign Characters Offer as shards for characters not currently available on campaign nodes (Rescue, Ghost) were unintentionally included in the drops. As this cannot be changed retroactively, the offer will continue to run and after it has expired we will be sending compensation to players that received shards for the ineligible characters.

I went to the team and asked for them to do this today as I thought it would be a player-friendly decision for all the players waiting for their 1400 Power Cores. I understand it's later than ideal but this should help out some players, not everyone, but at least some.

The timer for the Eternal Spirit event store was extended by one day, to allow any players waiting for the 1400 Power Cores to use them for store refreshes, if you wish to do so.

With the new Strike Pass, you will see Silver Flash Bits at level 70 but there’s currently nothing in the Costume shop that you can redeem them for. After the release of version 5.9, scheduled for release tomorrow (Wednesday PST), the Silver Flash Bits can be redeemed for a costume for Groot, Fully Trimmed.

A quick update that the 1400 Power Cores that will be sent to players has been delayed until Wednesday, scheduled to go out shortly after the release of version 5.9. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Recently there was an issue where some players that purchased a 21-Day login calendar were unable to claim the final day rewards of 1400 Power Cores. Today, we sent compensation of the 1400 Power Cores but they were unintentionally sent to all players that purchased the calendar, not to only the players affected by the bug.

To correct for this, the following action will be taken on Monday:

- Players that were affected by the original login calendar bug will be sent an additional 1400 Power Cores

- ALL PLAYERS that did not purchase the calendar will be gifted 1400 Power Cores, to be on par with the players that purchased the calendar but unintentionally received the compensation

Continuing the schedule of making newer character shards more available on the first Wednesday of every month, later today, Deathpool will replace Anti-Venom as an exclusive to the Premium Orb. Anti-Venom will still be available in the Premium Orb but no longer at the increased drop chance. Anti-Venom will be added to the War Store and the S.H.I.E.L.D. Operative will be removed - you can still find her character shards in the Campaign node of Heroes 4-3.

The inbox message and banner art for the Premium Orb regarding this change were not ready in time for this update today. The banner art will be updated in the near future.

There's currently an issue where the 21-Day Power Cores calendar disappeared early for many players and they were unable to claim the final day's rewards. The dev team is currently working on compensation for all affected players and we are targeting delivering it this Friday. We apologize for the error and are working quickly to resolve this.

There is an item in the 1 Power Core offer that is not properly displayed, which is 1000 Stark Tech credits. The team will review the situation early next week to determine if any compensation is needed. We apologize for the confusion.

For the Thanosgiving Orb there are several items where it shows a 0% drop rate. This is a limitation with our user interface as the actual drop rate is greater than 0% but less than 1%, so there is an extremely small chance to get those items. We apologize for the confusion.

The availability of Milestone points for Infinity Feast is the amount currently shown, with a small additional amount in the 1 Power Core offers. Fully completing the Milestone must be done through the related Supplies/Offers.

There’s currently an issue with the President Loki Costume that can cause the client to crash. Until the problem can be fully diagnosed and a subsequent fix is implemented, this costume will be temporarily disabled in combat for all players. We will keep you informed of our progress and when the costumes will be re-enabled. We apologize for this inconvenience in the interim.

It is intended that we include most of the communication from myself and the team in the weekly blog posts as 1) players know exactly when and where to see weekly updates and 2) we can get the communications translated into all languages. This week is a bit tough as many employees are out for the holiday week, which is why last week's blog covered most of what's coming up in the next two weeks.

I do agree that the communication regarding some of the event this week could have been crisper and I will certainly be discussing that when the team can reconvene next week.
