I think if you check around here on the Steam forums and over on our own official forums you will see that we actually do very little in the way of censorship when it comes to people expressing their concerns and voicing their opinions. However, we do have clear rules and guidelines that we expect all users to follow if they would like to be a part of the community and participate in discussions.

Shouldn't be coming at all Steam Workshop is extremely limiting and causes more issues than it fixes. Nexusmodmanager (Vortex) does all the work for you if you install it off nexus.

You won't be restricted to Steam Workshop and you will still be able to mod the game (as you can right now)... Read more

I reported many times before responding to the insults, but no one intervened. When I then replied in the same way, the moderator came and censored my offense, but left the other user's insults clearly visible, deliberately.
Moreover, someone else has come to flame, once again without consequences despite having reported the abuse.
It's really shameful how this forum is handled.
I am a player since the first chapter of this series and to be made fun of by moderators is unbelievable. We are not talking about the game, anyway, moderators should not be influenced by their ideological positions.

I hope to get...

The game has received a number of performance and stability patches since the launch of early access, far too many to list.

But to cut straight to the point, the game is in a good place right now when it comes to performance and stability. But with that being said, we are of course still finding and resolving issues.

Mount & Blade games have a low-fantasy fictional setting that draws inspiration from real world history. It is highly unlikely that we will explore a high-fantasy setting with dragons and other mythical creatures as a DLC for Bannerlord.

It is likely that you will find mods in the future that scratch some of those itches though.

While I agree it would be cool to craft your own armour, sadly this is the type of design that would need to be accommodated much earlier on in development, and as such, we currently have no plans to extend the crafting system beyond melee weapons.

Greeting warriors of Calradia!

With the recent release of e1.6.0 and well over a hundred game updates under our belt since the start of early access, we figured it’s about time that we discussed some of the progress made since our previous blog post back in April before turning our attention to some of the future plans for the game. Oh, and fair warning, this is a bit of a big one so you might want to grab yourself a...

So when will achievements be added to the game, given that they were in previous parts?

We are still working on achievements and will add them at some point in the future. They are just low priority right now.

As zef kindly highlighted, the game is in fact controller friendly.

However, as the others pointed out, it was made primarily for mouse and keyboard.

If you are still unsure then I would also recommend waiting until the full release to be certain.

You could also check out some live streams, YouTube videos and recent Steam reviews to get a better understanding of the current state of the game.
