First off, I am not a community manager. I am a volunteer moderator.

Secondly, it takes time for them to research the report and confirm it.

If it is minor, then do not expect any action to be taken. The severity of the offense governs what will be done.

Please keep in mind that if an exploit is involved, they may not do anything until they figure out what is being done. This can and does take time.

In all honesty, these rules were in the process of being developed and finalized on the 14th. They were only made public this morning. The moderators were given a heads up on this yesterday.

Due to the Covid 19 virus and everyone staying at home, you will see issues that you normally do not see. This is due to the internet not being able to handle all of the people currently at home. The internet itself has extra capacity to handle weekends, holidays, and high traffic hours in the evening. It does not have the capacity to handle everyone working from home, classes online instead of in a classroom, and the normal daily traffic.

Based on my experience with other online games, streaming sites, and my general surfing activities this is a bandwidth issue with the internet itself. One of the games I play actually stated the issues they have experienced are caused by internet traffic and not the servers.

Both Netflix and YouTube have throttled the video quality of their services worldwide. This was done to free up bandwidth.

May your boat never leak as you travel the seas of life.
May you always have a strong wind at your back to fill your sails.
May your horse always have a strong back to carry you.
May you always have the ability to laugh at yourself.
Best wishes to you and good luck with your future endevors.
You will be missed.

At this point in time, there has not been any official word as to what is going on. The people that can answer this are presently out of the office for a few more hours and are aware of it. Until then, anything you see or read is purely speculation.

Really wish I had some in put for this topic. My game will not load and the devs are looking at my DB. It works fine in the live build.

Not real sure. I have several fence foundations placed oddly due to the buildings they are part of. I also have a lot of structures that do not align properly with a foundation grid that have their own issues. Waiting for my testlive client to load to see what the changes have done.

This is fine. The issue is with fence foundations being placed in an unintended fashion. Secondly, this will clear an issue that causes server crashes.

There are YouTube vids that show ways to use them that are not intended. This is just one of many out there.

Crossing them and anything built with them as support is not as intended.
Comment

The information I have is this will not affect fence foundations against foundations. This is something I have used extensively in my builds.

I have even gone as far as to use fences to hold them above the gates as shown.

Hi everyone,

I must really be an old gamer. The first gaming system my parents got us when I was growing up in Texas was Pong. When my brother was not around, I would play the single player version.

My first online games were the text based BBS games multiple people could play on. To give you an idea how simple they were, one of my friend’s ran one off of his Apple 2.

I have been all over the world. I spent a month in Europe after graduating high school. I had the choice of going to Europe or the College/University of my choice for graduation. On that trip, we spent time in the U.K., France, Austria, Italy (twice), Greece, and Spain in that order. The flight back to the states was very interesting and unusual. The pilot was in a rush to get off the ground and in the air. After take off, we were told that Skylab was de-orbiting that day.

I have actually found that they will stop shooting at a target if they run out of arrows during a purge. To improve the archers lethality, I have been equipping mine with poison arrows and hardened steel arrows. I have actually found that the purge will not move out of the gas cloud. As for the Orb throwers, do not give them orbs since they will damage your base and other thralls.

There are tonnes of those like that in the game. They are working to correct them as they find them or they are pointed out. It is minor so might take a patch or two.

Game mode: Single-player
Type of issue: Bug
Server type:
Region:

Trebuchet will not turn so you can aim it.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Place Siege base with Trebuchet on it.
  2. Try to aim it at your target.
  3. Fail at this since it will not move.
  4. :man_facepalming:

I tested this on both a newly placed Trebuchet and one of the ones at my main base that has not imploded on me.

I have had the purge get through 3 layers of T3 foundations. The waves all had orb throwers. Thankfully, they do not climb.

I saw a comment from one of the Dev’s in the CE modding Discord that it has been fixed. I am not sure if it has been updated/patched to TestLive. have not tested that yet.

It is on TestLive and is a player requested Idea. Based on what I have seen, it is not supposed to take a feather for example and give you a carcass. Funcom is aware of the issue and I expect we will see changes on how this bench works.

Post

Put a feather in the Dismantling bench by accident. Got a carcass back.
